Shoe collection with its roots in Danish architecture

Ecco me is a project done in collaboration with the footwear company Ecco. A shoe collection of 9 designs is created and 3 prototypes are produced: Hybrid, Halo and Hack using the 3-level pyramid model.

The surface pattern designs are inspired by details in Danish architecture e.g. wooden beams of high structural importance.

Experimenting with an overlay design approach aiming at creating a multilayered visual effect enhanced by a pallette of acromatic colours resulting in a colour study. Light and dark greys constrasting with a vivid red-orange and a warm yellow-orange, representing the atmosphere in the quarter of Nyhavn in Copenhagen.

 Materials: Leather

Techniques: Lasercut, analogue silk screen print, pigment colours
